DUSHANBE, July 12, 2010, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s Council of Justice (Shuroi Adliya) is concerned over corruption in the country’s judicial bodies.
Head of the Council of Justice, Zafar Azizov, told reporters on July 12 that over the first six months of this year, corruption cases have been revealed at the city courts of Dushanbe and Qairoqqum (Sughd province). “Besides, two employees of the district court in Bobojonghafurov district in Sughd also face corruption charges,” Azizov noted.
By government’s instruction activity of judicial bodies will be thoroughly studied, the Council of Justice head added.
