June 21. “Asia-Plus” — Upon the results of the general meeting of shareholders of the Agroinvestbank public corporation, which took place last weekend, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank Niezmurod Saidmurodov was dismissed from his post of his own accord and for health reasons.

Farruh Tagoymurodov, former deputy chairman of the Borad and Head of the Treasury and Trade Directorate, was appointed new Chairman of the Board, Agroinvestbank told the AP.

According to the bank, newly appointed Chairman of the Board is a specialist in organization and economy of agricultural production. In 1990 Tagoymurodov graduated from the Tajik State University and started to work in Tajikistan’s banking sector. Since that time he mainly dealt with economic analysis, financing and long-term crediting of natural persons and economic entities and bank development. In May 2002 he was appointed Director of the Financial and Economic Department of Agroinvestbank. In January 2005 he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors – Head of the bank’s Financial and Economic Department. Since May 2008 he served as Deputy Chairman of the Board and Head of the Treasury and Trade Directorate.
