DUSHANBE, May 21, 2010, Asia-Plus — One of the leading Ukrainian air carriers KIY AVIA will cooperate with the Tajik national air company TajikAir in the field of ticket sale, air transportation and tourism.

TajikAir has conducted final round of talks on the launch of a new air route between Tajikistan and Ukraine, TajikAir told Asia-Plus. As a result of official visit of Tajik air officials to Ukraine, the sides have agreed to sale air and tourism services provided by the Ukrainian KIY AVIA.

“According to the agreement, KIY AVIA and TajikAir will cooperate in sale of air tickets, air transportations and tourism,” the source has said.

According to TajikAir, KIY AVIA’s network includes more than 60 air ticket sale centers and travel agencies operating in all regional and big cities in Ukraine.

“Furthermore, according to the agreement, tickets for Borispol-Dushanbe air flight will be sold in sale offices and through on-line payment system at

Starting from May 27 TajikAir is planning to carry out regular flights to Borispol. The flights are expected to be carried out on Thursdays. One way ticket will cost 350 Euro.
