DUSHANBE, February 19, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan and India have exchanged ratification notes on an agreement on extradition.
According to Tajik MFA information department, Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and the Indian Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr. Amar Sinha, singed a protocol on exchange of ratification notes on the agreement on extradition on February 18.
Tajikistan and India signed the extradition agreement on November 14, 2003 and it comes into effect on the day of exchange of the ratification notes, the source said.
