About 2.5 billion soms enriched the Kyrgyz state budget in January 2009. The president Kurmanbek Bakiev was informed about such revenue on Monday, February 16, the presidential press service reported.

The report was voiced at the traditional working meeting of the president with the state secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic Dosbol Nur uulu, presidential chief-of-staff Daniyar Usenov, chief of the presidential secretariat Oksana Malevanaya and secretary of the Kyrgyz security committee Adahan Madumarov. The meeting was devoted to the outcomes of the first month in 2009.

The announced revenue exceeded the planned one by 76.2 million soms, while the GDP rate in January 2009 grew by 3.7 percent as compared to the same period in 2008.
