DUSHANBE, April 12, 2010, Asia-Plus  –The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill requiring amendments to the country’s law on the national budget for 2010 at an April 12 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker, Shukurjon Zuhurov.

According to the Majlisi Namoyandagon press service, the board also considered amendments to the laws on banking activity, mortgage and public associations as well as criminal procedure and civil codes.

The board also discussed an agreement on the protection of participants of criminal proceedings and an agreement on the basic principles of creation of the system of secret management of forces and means of the system of collective security of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).   

Some of these issues will be considered at the next sitting of the first session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation on April 14, the press service said.
