DUSHANBE, April 12, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Four persons were killed Sunday as a rock fall occurred in the Rasht district in eastern Tajikistan.

According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the tragedy took place on the 183rd kilometer of the highway from Vahdat to Jirgatol.

“The rockfall hit a heavy truck KAMAZ that fell into the Surkhob River,” said the source at a MoI, “The driver and his three passengers were killed.”
