DUSHANBE, March 30, 2010, Asia-Plus  — A ceremony of an official opening of the Regional Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) on Migration and AIDS Problems took place at the Healthy Lifestyle Center (Diagnostic Center) in Dushanbe on March 29.

According to the Interior Ministry Migration Center, the Regional ERIC was launched by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration’s (IOM) Mission in Tajikistan with financial support from the Central Asia AIDS Control Project (CAAP).

“Representatives from relevant structures, including medical workers, representatives from NGOs and appropriate sectors from nations participating in the migration and HIV project may take training course at the center,” the source said.

The center will also make available methodological, consultative and information assistance to the interested organizations on training and developing training modules on the migration and HIV problems.
