DUSHANBE, February 10, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The Kazakh Embassy in Dushanbe has donated a consignment of books by Kazakh writers to Tajik National Firdavsi Library in Dushanbe.

The source at the National Firdavsi Library, said that more than 500 new book were handed over to the library last week on occasion of the 16th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

“These books by Kazakh authors are about political and socioeconomic life of Kazakhstan as well as cultural heritage of the Kazakh people,” the source said.

Tajikistan and Kazakhstan established diplomatic relations on January 7, 2009.
