In the “Tigrovaya Balka” State Nature Reserve in southern Tajikistan, work is underway to install culverts, reports the press service of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the government of the republic.
As specified, the measures are aimed at improving the hydrological condition of the reserve’s territory, ensuring normal water circulation, and preventing the accumulation of silt deposits. In addition, the work is intended to contribute to the preservation of the ecological balance of this unique natural area.
Simultaneously, regular cleaning of channels and culverts from silt and other obstructions is being conducted in the reserve. This is necessary to ensure the free flow of water, improve the reclamation condition of the territory, and prevent possible flooding.
The Committee emphasized that such activities are of significant importance for maintaining the natural environment of the reserve and protecting its ecosystem. The condition of hydrological objects is under constant monitoring by specialists, and work on their restoration and maintenance is carried out regularly.
The “Tigrovaya Balka” State Nature Reserve is one of the key specially protected natural areas in the country, and the measures taken are aimed at its long-term preservation.
