DUSHANBE, November 12, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Limited liability company, Charkhi Gardoun, which is the first media holding in Tajikistan, will be fifteen on November 18, 2009.

The first weekly of this media holding,

, was brought out on November 18, 1994.

The limited liability company, Charkhi Gardoun, now publishes seven weeklies, namely

.

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the Charkhi Gardoun head Akbarali Sattorov said that they were going to issue another weekly this year –

(Gold Pen).  “Unfortunately, the financial crisis has affected our plans,” said Mr. Sattorov, “However, we intend to begin publishing

and Tajik version of

Den za Dnyem

next year.”

He added that his dream was publishing a daily newspaper that would operationally cover current events in the country.
