DUSHANBE, September 28, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered the agenda of next regular sitting of the session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon at a September 28 meeting presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board had also considered the draft laws on participation of citizens in maintaining public order, amendments to the laws on copyright and allied rights as well as legal status of foreign citizens in Tajikistan and a number of other legal documents.

The board also considered a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation on jointly planning use of forces for ensuring joint security and Tajikistan and Russia.

Some of these issues will be considered at the first regular session of the sixth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation that will be held in Dushanbe on October 1, the spokesman said.
