DUSHANBE, May 20, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Presidents of Croatia and Turkey are expected to pay official visits to Tajikistan this month.

According to the MFA information department, an official visit of Croatian President Stepan Mesic to Tajikistan is scheduled for May 23-25.  The leaders of the two countries will consider cooperation issues and a number of bilateral cooperation documents will be signed.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul will pay an official visit to Tajikistan on May 28-30.  During the visit, the Turkish leader will hold talks with a number of high-ranking Tajik state officials to discuss state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Turkey and Tajikistan.  Turkish president’s visit is also expected to result in signing of a number of cooperation agreements.
