DUSHANBE, January 29, 2011, Asia-Plus — Tajik woman that was wounded in a bombing attack at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport is already out of hospital.

According to the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, the 41-year-old Nasiba Samiyeva from GBAO’s Ishkashim district was wounded in the shoulder.  She received treatment in Moscow hospital # 20.

In the meantime, the 41-year-old Salim Silmanov who sustained serious injuries in the Domodedovo blast is still critical and specialists from the Burdenko Neurosurgical Institute are continuing to struggle to save him.  Salim sustained serious shrapnel head wound and lost much blood.

Seventeen Tajiks that were wounded in the Domodedovo blast are still in hospitals in Moscow and Moscow oblast.

We will recall that the explosion happened in the international arrivals hall of the Domodedovo airport on January 24, at about 4:31 pm local time.  According to the latest data from Russia’s appropriate services, 35 persons were killed and some 120 others were injured, many of them critically.  Two Tajik nationals were killed and at least 20 others were wounded in the Domodedovo blast.

All victims of the Domodedovo blast will receive cash compensation from the Russian Government.  “Families of those killed in the blast will receive 3 million Russian rubles, 1.9 million rubles will be paid to those who were severely wounded and 1.2 million rubles will be paid to those who were slightly wounded,” the source said, noting that the Tajik Embassy is assisting relatives of the blast victims with preparing documents necessary for receiving the compensation.  Personal accounts will be opened for the blast victims, he added.
