DUSHANBE, February 21, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered amendments to the country’s criminal procedure code at a February 21 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon Speaker, Shukurjon Zuhurov.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered amendments to the customs code and discussed a draft law on free economic zones in Tajikistan.  

All these issues will be considered at a regular sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that will take place in early March, Sultonov said.
