DUSHANBE, June 9, Asia-Plus  — Members of the Majlisi Milli have unanimously seconded the law requiring amendments to the RT Law “On Energy.”

The fifth session of the Majlisi Milli, presided over by its head, Mahmadsid Ubaidulloyev, was held on June 9.

Speaking on this subject, member of the Majlisi Milli also head of President’s Executive Office, Matloubkhon Davlatov, noted the amendments were aimed at enhancing the provision of economy and the population with electric power.  According to him, the government is currently working out the energy-saving law.

Presenting the law on the equity market, Davlatov said that in case of efficient implementation of the law there would be no necessity to persuade people to buy shares in Roghun HPP.

“I am sure that that establishment of the equity market will promote attraction of surplus funds of the population and successful businessmen for implementation of important investment projects in the country,” Davlatov said.
