DUSHANBE, July 22, 2011, Asia-Plus  – By president’s decree Husein Aliyev, formerly member of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), was appointed acting chairman of Tojikobod district.

Husein Aliyev had previously been deputy chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Economy, Budget, Finance and Taxes.  He was elected to parliament through the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) list.

Husein Aliyev replaced Makhsoum Fozilov, who died on July 18, aged 56 after a short illness.
