KHUJNAD, December 29, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The Sughd province now has 3,900 job vacancies, the head of the main directorate within the Sughd agency for employment, migration and social protection of the population Ubaidullo Rashidov said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to him, the city of Qairoqqum has 632 job vacancies.  It is followed by the Bobojonghafurov and Isfara districts.

“The industrial sector has 1,513 job vacancies, health sector – 661 and education sector – 634,” Rashidov said, noting that only two districts – Shahriston and Kuhistoni Mastchoh – do not experience shortage of manpower.

Industrial enterprises offer jobs with monthly wage of 60 to 500 somoni, medical facilities – 46 somoni and educational facilities – 84 somoni, Rashidov said.
