DUSHANBE, September 8, 2011, Asia-Plus — On behalf of the American people, the Embassy of the United States of America would like to express its best wishes for prosperity and peace to the Tajik people on the 20th anniversary of the independence of Tajikistan, a message released by the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe today said.
“The United States will continue to work in partnership with the Republic of Tajikistan to promote its security, economic development, and democratic values. On the happy occasion of Tajikistan’s 20th anniversary, we look forward to many years of close cooperation with the people of Tajikistan.”
