DUSHANBE, October 11, 2011, Asia-Plus — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered the bill requiring amendments to the country’s anti-corruption law at an October 10 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board also considered the draft laws on the compulsory pension insurance, environmental examination and bee keeping.

These issues will be considered at the next sitting of the Majlisi Namoyandagon that will take place on October 12, Sultonov said.
