DUSHANABE, November 11, 2011, Asia-Plus — On November 14, the U.S. Embassy will launch International Education Week 2011 in Tajikistan with an educational fair. A wide range of educational organizations including ACCELS, Education USA, IREX, OSI, the Bactria Cultural Center, Tempus, DAAD, UCA, AKHP, American Corners and Multikid will take part in the event, the U.S. Embassy reports.

They will introduce their programs, distribute handouts, and be available to answer questions. The education fair is an exciting opportunity to learn more about studying in the U.S., exchange programs, and other international educational opportunities.

The educational fair will be held at the Bactria Cultural Center located at 15 Academician Rajabov Street at 2:00 pm on November 14.

In addition to the education fair, a number of interesting educational events will be held across Tajikistan.

International Education Week 2011 celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange programs.  Education and exchanges are critical to developing mutual understanding and investing in the future relationship between the American people and the world.
