DUSHANBE, January 16, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Tajikistan has signed joint communiqués on establishment of diplomatic relations with Burkina Faso and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.  The communiqué-signing ceremonies took lace in New York on January 12 and 13.

According to the Permanent Mission of Tajikistan to the United Nations, Ambassador

Sirojiddin Aslov, Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations, signed the documents on behalf of the Government of Tajikistan.

After the communiqué-signing ceremonies, Ambassador Aslov and his counterparts from Burkina Faso and Jordan discussed issues related to expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial relations and cooperation between the countries within the United Nations, the source said.
