DUSHANBE, January 24, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has offered to rotate school principals and hospital head physicians every five years.

He remarked this at an enlarged meeting of the Dushanbe mayor’s office that took place on January 23.  The mayor reportedly held the meeting to discuss the implementation of president’s orders and instructions on promoting socioeconomic development of the capital city.

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, notes the meeting, in particular, considered issues related to issuance of faked school-leaving certificates by a number of high schools in Dushanbe and juvenile delinquency in the city.

“In this connection, Deputy Mayor Sanovbar Rahimova and head of the Dushanbe education directorate were ordered to pay a special attention to intensification of educational work,” Saidov said.

According to him, the mayor ordered to dismiss all school principals, district education department heads and city hospital head physicians holding those positions for more than five years.  They will be replaced by promising young specialists, the spokesman added.
