DUSHANBE, January 30, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul have exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Turkey.

In his message, President Rahmon, in particular, spoke highly of the development of Tajikistan’s bilateral ties with Turkey over the past twenty years and expressed confidence that relations between the two nations would develop in the future as well, the Tajik presidential press service said.

President Gul expressed willingness to develop traditional friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajikistan.
