DUSHANBE, April 4, 2012, Asia-Plus — The Ministry of Energy and Industries (MoEI) of Tajikistan and Gigawatt Global (GWG) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The document was inked here by Gul Sherali, Minister of Energy and Industries of Tajikistan, and Josef Abramovich, President of Gigawatt Global, an official source at a MoEI said.
According to him, the document provides for the establishment of cooperation on designing and constructing solar power plants in Tjaikistan.
At first, the sides plan to launch pilot projects on establishment of solar panels in local free economic zones (FEZs), the source added.
