The draft law “On museums and museum funds” was considered at today’s session of the Council of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan which was presided over by the Lower Chamber’s speaker Shukurjon Zukhurov.

The draft law was designed to remove some existing contradictions with a series of legislative acts, including the Law “On Culture”, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon Muhammadato Sultonov told AP.

He said the session has also considered introduction of changes into the Law “On professional education”, the Law “On state budget for 2012”, the Law “On protection of persons involved in criminal proceedings” and other normative and legislative acts.

“All issues were also included into the agenda of the third session of the Lower Chamber of the Parliament of the fourth convocation due in Dushanbe on May 11,” Sultonov has said.
