Tajik sportswoman Mavzuna Chorieva qualified for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

In his interview to AP Secretary General of the Tajik Boxing Federation Abbos Negmatulloev said that Chorieva qualified to the 2012 London Olympic Games through qualification tournament in Qinhuangdao, China.

Today Mavzuna Chorieva won her 1/8 final in 60kg weight division versus Antonina Shevchenko from Kyrgyzstan 10:2 qualifying for the Summer Olympic Games.

He said tomorrow, May 16, Mavzuna will fight French boxer Estel Mosseli who won her 1/8 final fight versus Spanish boxer Jennifer Miranda.

Previously Tajik boxer won her fights versus Alla Yaroshevich from Belarus and Carolina Grasyuk from Poland.

M.Chorieva has become 13th Tajik sportswoman to qualify for the 2012 London Olympic Games. Previously the following Tajik sportsmen qualified for the Summer Olympic Games in London: Dilshod Nazarov (hammer throwing), Rasul Bokiev and Parviz Sobirov (Judo), Alisher Gulov and Farhod Negmatov (WTF Taekwondo), Anvar Yunusov, Sobirjon Nazarov and Jahon Kurbonov (boxing), Iskandar Rustam, Yusuf Abdusalomov, Zelimkhan Yusufov and Nikolai Noev (freestyle wrestling).
