DUSHANBE, October 15, Asia-Plus — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered the bill on trade and domestic service at an October 15 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon Speaker, Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon says the board also considered the bill on providing medical and psychological assistance.
Besides, the board endorsed a decision on introducing Dilshod Ismatulloyev into the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Legislation and Human Rights.
We will recall that Dilshod Ismatulloyev, formerly deputy director of the Roghun hydroelectric power plant (HPP) under construction, replaced in parliament Ms. Khadicha Hakimova, who died on June 18 this year.
Since Ms. Hakimova was elected to the Majlisi Namoyandagon through the list of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ismatulloyev replaced her in parliament without elections.
