KHUJAND, November 1, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Private solider of military unit 14356 of the Ministry of Defense (MoD), deployed in the Shodoba jamoat, Sughd’s Asht district, Daler Haidarov, has committed suicide. 

According to the Sughd police directorate, a 19-year-old Daler Haidarov was found hanged in the house of his grandfather in the Punghoz jamoat in the Asht village on October 31. 

Daler Haidarov was called up for military service in November 2007.    

Police source noted that no signs of violent death had been found and said they were investigating the case.
