DUSHANBE, January 3, Asia-Plus – Two young women, the 18-year-ol Zarrina Adnreyeva and the 21-year-old Inobat Karimova, have been arrested on suspicion of having been involved in murder.     

Jaloliddin Sadriddinov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe police directorate, has told Asia-Plus the detained women are charged with having killed the 19-year-old Siyovush Zafiyev, who worked as  a guard with one of branches of “AmonatBonk” (Tajik savings bank) in Tajik capital.  

According to Sadriddinov, on December 28, Zafiyev invited those young women to mark by celebration the coming New Year in guards’ office.  “The women were in a state of intoxication and agreed,” said Sadriddinov, “When Zafiyev began attaching himself to the women, one of them took a knife and inflicted several stab wounds to him.”  The investigation is under way.
