’s National Olympic Committee (NOC) numbering ten people today left for


Turin


to attend the Twentieth Winter Olympic Games.

The Tajik NOC’s delegation is flying to


Turin


via


Moscow


, where representatives from “Russian Aluminum” (Rusal), which is an official sponsor of Tajik team, will join the delegation, according to Farid Solehov, a spokesman for the Tajik NOC. 

We will recall that only one sportsman, Andrey Drygin (mountain skiing) will represent

in the Winter Olympic Games in


Italy


As it had been reported earlier, the first 4-member delegation of


Tajikistan


Olympic team, including two sportsmen, Andrey Drygin and Abdughaffor Sharipov, as well as Muhammadsho Abdulloyev, Director General of


Tajikistan


’s National Olympic Committee (NOC), and Shirin Mamadsafoyev, Secretary General of the Tajik NOC, arrived in


Turin


on February 5.    

The Twentieth Winter Olympic Games will be held in


Turin


from February 10-26.  Our sportsman will enter the competitions on February 12.
