 DUSHANBE, March 1, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmonov introduced a number of staff changes at a February 28 meeting reviewing socioeconomic development of the country. 

Abdumajid Usmonov and Safar Zohidov were appointed deputy directors of the Tajik national TV channel “Safina”.  

Abdulhamid Sayfulloyev was appointed First Deputy Director general of the State Unitary Enterprise “Khojagii Manziliyu Komunali” (Tajik state housing-communal company).  

Zokirkhuja Muhiddinov was relieved of his post of First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Construction and Architecture in connection with transfer to other job. 

Gurez Zaripov, formerly deputy director of the Drug Control Agency (DCA), was appointed First Deputy Minister of State Revenues and Tax Collections.    

Zafar Safarov, who had previously been head of the construction and architecture department within the President’s Executive Office, was appointed director of the Unit for Implementation of the Hamadoni Water Supply Project in Khatlon.   

Isroil Ismoilov, formerly deputy director of the external aid coordination unit within the President’s Executive Office, was appointed director of the Unit for Implementation of the Investment Education Reforms Project.
