Mirzoanvar Ahmadov, head of the agriculture department within the Sughd chairman’s office, has told

-Plus a ceremonial event was held in the Bobojonghafurov district on this occasion.  Farming units in Sughd pledge to sow with the spring crops 180,400 hectares of lands this year, according to him.  

Mr. Ahmadov also said that all agricultural machines in the region had been prepared for the spring sowing campaign and the cotton-sowing campaign would start soon.  He added that they planned to increase areas under vegetables, potatoes and melon crops.  “Opening of the Anzob tunnel will allow delivering our farm produce to

and other regions of the republic,” Mirzoanvar Ahmadov said.
