SPT has no its organization in Vose: local authorities

KULOB, April 20, Asia-Plus – Qurbon Safarov, head of office of chairman of the Vose district, says that Shams Zarifov, head of the “Shams” dehqan (peasant) farm in Vose, was arrested on April 8 is not head of organization of the Mirhusein Narziyev-run wing of the Socialist of Party of Tajikistan (SPT) in the district. 

Moreover, the SPT has not held constituent conference in Vose and it does not have its organization in the district, Safarov said, speaking to journalists on April 19.  

 Mr. Safarov just supposed that probably any initiative group for making preparations for the constituent conference had been set up and Shams Zarifov had been charged to deal with organizing issues.  

In the meantime, according to information from the Kulob prosecutor’s office, Shams Zarifov facing label charge has not mentioned his belonging to the SPT during interrogations.
