-Plus – Commander of the Shahritus border unit in Khatlon province has been killed by accident during hunting wild boar.

According to information from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the incident took place on Thursday [April 27].  The source says that according to the preliminary investigation, a group of border officers went to hunt wild boar and a 39-year-old Colonel Zafar Odinayev was killed by accident during the hunting by one of officers.  

At the same time, the source says other versions of the incident also do not rule out and the law enforcement agencies are considering all versions.  

Representatives from the Committee for Protection of State Border of Tajikistan have confirmed this fact but refrained from giving further details of the incident.
