-Plus – On Tuesday may 2, officers from Tajik transportation police intercepted more than 3.5 kilograms of heroin at the Tajik-Uzbek border in the Tursunzoda district.

According to information from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), a 44-year-old electrician of the train Dushanbe-Moscow Qahhor Nabiyev was detained at the Pakhtaobod railway station on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking.  More than 3.5 kilograms of heroin were confiscated from him.  Investigation is under way.
