DUSAHNBE, May 30, Asia-Plus — Tajik Defense Minister Sherali Khairulloyev will take part a meeting of the council of the CIS defense ministers that will be held in the Azerbaijani capital city of Baku on May 31.  

According to information from the Ministry of Defense (MoD), the meeting is aiming to consider issues related to cooperation between the CIS state in military and military-technical spheres.  

The MoD source says delegations from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives from the CIS Executive Committee are supposed to attend the CIS defense ministers’ meeting.
