KULOB, June 21, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s Islamic Revival Party (IRPT) intends to hold a district conference in the district of Danghara (Khatlon) on the eve of a Day of National Unity in Tajikistan, which is marked on June 27.  

Abdusamad Ghayratov, the head of the IRPT organization from the Kulob region of Khatlon, has told Asia-Plus that Danghara and Baljuvon districts have remained out of zone of their activity in the Kulob region.  

According to Mr. Ghayratov, at present the IRPT organization fro the Kulob region has 1,100 members and after the holding of the conference in Danghara 30 other active members will join them.   Abdusamad Ghayratov added that the party’s initiative group has begun actively acting in the Baljuvon district as well.
