According to information from the Ministry of Economy and Trade (MET), this was remarked yesterday at a meeting of senior representatives from MET with visiting Turkish co-chairman of Tajik-Turkish Business Council, Mr. Vedat Oflaz (phonetically spelled).  

The MET source says Turkish entrepreneurs are offering more moderate prices – US$1,000 per one square meter.  “It is still unknown when and in what area of

the residential complex will be built,” said the source, “It depends on further negotiations of Turkish entrepreneurs with Tajik ministries and organizations.” 

Turkish side has also shown interest in investment in development of Tajik mining industry, according to the source.  Turkish is also ready to invest in the construction of hypermarket in the Tajik capital. Turkish entrepreneurs intend to negotiate this issue with

Besides, Tajik side has submitted for consideration to Turkish entrepreneurs investment projects aimed at development of textiles sector in the republic and the construction of small hydropower plants on the
