, July 19, Asia-Plus  — The first edition of new Russian-language social-political weekly entitled “Sobytiya” (Events) will be brought out in

on July 20.   

The “Sobytiya” editor and founder Saidali Siddiqov has told Asia-Plus that their weekly will cover events taking places in the filed of economics, politics, science and culture both in


Tajikistan


and outside it.  

“The first edition has a circulation of a 1,000 but in future, we plan to increase it,” noted Mr. Siddiqov, “The 16-page newspaper will be available in news-stands in


Dushanbe


and in the Sughd province.” 

According to Saidali Siddiqov, at present seven people are working with the weekly.
