, July 31, Asia-Plus – Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev presided over an enlarged meeting of the mayor’s office on July 31. The meeting discussed issues related to preparations to ensure the regular work of the city”s economy during autumn-winter 2006-2007.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman fro the Dushanbe mayor, has told Asia-Plus that Ubaidulloyev demanded at the meeting that reserves of alternative sources of heating should be prepared alongside with energy resources. According to the mayoral spokesman, although special city and district commissions have been set up in
Dushanbe
for preparations to ensure the regular work of the city’s economy in the winter the mayor has taken the implementation of these issues under his personal control.
