DUSHANBE, August 9, Asia-Pus – Toda, 28 Tajik holidaymaking schoolchildren left for Russia to have the rest in the summer camp “Zarnitza” in the Moscow region.  

Viktor Dubovitsky, the head of the Council of Russian Fellow-Countrymen in Tajikistan, has told Asia-Plus that 18 schoolchildren from Dushanbe, Sarband, Qurghon Teppa, Tursunzoda, Vahdat and Rudaki as well as 10 schoolchildren from the Sughd province were sent to the Moscow region to have the rest in that camp.  

According to him, schoolchildren aged 10 to 13 have been competitively selected through schools and primary organizations of the Council of Russian Fellow-Countrymen in Tajikistan.  He added that the schoolchildren would have the rest in the “Zarnitza” camp from August 9-29.   .

Besides, 48 teenagers aged 14 to 17 will have a tour of the Russian cities of the “Golden Ring” route.  Winners of school olympiads on the Russian language and history will have this tour, according to Mr. Dubovitsky.  

During a week-long trip from August 13-20, they will visit Moscow, Vladimir, Suzdal, Kostroma, and Pereyaslav.  

According to him, all these activities are paid by the Russian Government.
