DUSAHNBE, August 18, Asia-Plus – Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament), Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, presided over a meeting of the organizing committee for holding of Tajik-Russian inter-parliamentary forum on August 16.  The Tajik-Russian inter-parliamentary forum formally titled “Tajikistan-Russia: Prospects of Regional Cooperation” is scheduled to be held in Dushanbe on August 24-26.

The meeting focused on a progress of preparatory work.  The meeting heard reports of heads of working groups on the work done as well as information about trip of special groups to Tajikistan and the Russian Federation for coordination of the forum’s draft documents.  

Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev pointed at the meeting on the necessity of drawing business-structures into work of the forum.
