DUSHANBE, September 4, Asia-Plus  — The Asian U-17 Football Championship is being played in Singapore from September 3-17.

According to information from Tajikistan’s Football Federation, the Tajik youth football team is playing in the Group “B”.  In this group, Tajik youth soccer player will compete with U17 Iran, U17 Iraq and U17 Yemen.  

The youth soccer teams from Singapore, Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Nepal, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Iran, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Republic of Korea, Japan, China, and People’s Democratic Republic of Korea (North Korea) are competing with each other in AFC (Asian Football Confederation) U-17 Championship 2006 Final Tournament in Singapore.
