DUSSHANBE, September 15, Asia-Plus – Realizing an important role of customs cooperation Tajikistan comes out for speeding up preparation and signing of an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in the customs sphere, Tajik Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov remarked at the fifth session of heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) government in Dushanbe today morning. 

According to him, it is important to intensify the work on preparation of an agreement on mutual protection of investments for further extension of legal foundation of cooperation within SCO.  

Tajik prime minister also pointed to the necessity of signing of a memorandum on agreements and intergovernmental agreement on creation of favorable conditions for international vehicular transportation.  

High-ranking state officials from Afghanistan, India, Iran and Pakistan having observer status in SCO are also attending the fifth session of the SCO heads of government in Dushanbe.
