DUSHANBE, October 19, Asia-Plus – No serious violations have been revealed in election campaign in Tajikistan, a statement released by representatives of the International Institute for Monitoring Development of Democracy, Parliamentarism and Observance of Voting Rights of Citizens of Member Nations the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly Participating Countries yesterday said. 

This stage of election campaign, including registration of candidates for president, has followed the country’s present legislation,” the statement said.

”The election platforms of the candidates do not contain confrontational provisions. They present a broad spectrum of economic problems such as support for small and medium-sized enterprises, development of social sphere, education, science and culture. Special attention is paid to transportation and hydropower.”

Reviewing early monitoring, experts stated that the election campaign is being carried out calmly in Tajikistan, in accordance with the legislation of the country.
