DUSHANBE, October 23, Asia-Plus – A three-day international conference formally titled “Problems of Contemporary Chemistry and its Applied Aspects” will open in Dushanbe on October 25.   

According to the Tajik Academy of Sciences, the conference will bring together leading researchers from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, the United States and Uzbekistan.  

A source at the Academy of Sciences said that more than 100 papers are supposed to be delivered at the conference on various aspects of chemistry.  

The conference participants are also scheduled to visit a number of industrial enterprises and cultural centers in Tajikistan.
