DUSHANBE, October 26, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s young soccer players will take part in the Asian Under Twenty Football Championships that will kick off in India on October 29, according to Tajikistan’s Football Federation.

Shavkat Ahmadov, the Tajik Football Federation Executive Secretary, said in an interview with Asia-Plus will qualify for semi-final in Group C. 

In its group, Tajikistan will compete for semi-final with U20 teams of Northern Korea, Iran and Japan.  On October 29, Tajik soccer players will play their first game against Iran’s team.  On November 2, they will meet with U20 team of Northern Korea. 

According to Ahmadov, Tajik soccer players will try to gain entry to the 2007 FIFA Under Twenty World Cup that will be held in Canada.
