DUSHANBE, November 16, Asia-Plus – Tajikistan’s Drug Control Agency burned more than 140 kilograms of drugs on November 16. 

A source at the counternarcotics agency said that nearly 58 kilograms of heroin, more than 70 kilograms of cannabis, 12 kilograms of hashish, some 172 grams of raw opium and 500 grams of psychotropic substances were burnt in the agency’s incinerator today, adding that the drugs have been confiscated this year.    

The burning took place in the presence of representatives from the law enforcement agencies and media.
