DUSAHNBE, November 22, Asia-Plus — A Week of Culture of the Islamic republic of Afghanistan will be held in Dushanbe from November 25 to November 30.

Temur Shah Hakimyar, the head of the Afghan Culture and Civil Society Center in Dushanbe, said in an interview with Asia-Plus that more than 30 known Afghan artistes, singers, poets and writers will take part in this event.   

As part of this event a performance by Afghan producer Abdulqayum Besid Sultoni entitled Zamin (Earth) and four Afghan movies will be demonstrated in Dushanbe.  An exhibition of works by Afghan painters and calligraphers will be organized on the sidelines of this cultural event in Dushanbe.  

The events will be held at the Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Dramatic Lohuti Theatre.
